Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of the ranch. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Ranch Hand will play a crucial role in maintaining the ranch's productivity and overall health. This position includes Housing, Utilities, work truck, and insurance options

Responsibilities

General operation management of 9,000 acres
Overseeing use of 4 water wells, 65+ miles of water line, all troughs, water barns for houses on the property
Overseeing all feeders are filled and in working condition (cottonseed and corn)
Equipment maintenance
Running heavy equipment: skid steer, backhoe, bulldozer, tractor
Pulling trailers
Some mowing (mostly upkeeping your yard)
List what every purchase you make is used for and the cost
Welding
Fixing fence
Guiding hunters
Keeping clays stocked at skeet range
Scouting for deer, learn the herd
Assisting with events when needed (weddings, parties, reunions, etc.)
We also offer a retreat side, assist with guests when needed

Experience

Previous experience in farming or ranching is required; willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with operating heavy machinery is a plus.
Experience with equipment repair is beneficial for maintaining functionality on the ranch.
Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
