Altano North America is hiring a Chief People & Operations Officer to lead HR strategy, operational performance, compliance, and post-merger integration across its growing network of equine clinics and practices.
This is a highly hands-on, execution-driven executive role in a private equity-backed environment, responsible for driving performance, scalability, and cultural alignment across 19 North American locations.

What You’ll Do
Executive Leadership
- Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team
- Partner closely with the CMO and CFO to align strategy with operational and people execution
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Integration teams
- Maintain alignment with the International Executive Team
Operations & Performance
- Lead HR and collaborate closely on operations leadership across North America
- Drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and standardization
- Define and manage KPIs, dashboards, and performance cadence
- Implement scalable operating models and organizational structures
People Strategy & Compliance
- Own end-to-end workforce strategy
- Lead retention, development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian labor laws
- Oversee HR policies, compensation frameworks, contracts, and benefits
- Manage employee relations matters and risk mitigation
M&A Integration
- Lead post-merger integration of acquired clinics
- Harmonize employment models, compensation plans, benefits, and governance
- Execute synergies and productivity improvements
