Position: Operations Personnel
Job Summary
The responsibility of Operation Personnel is to work closely with the Operations Manager to complete any and all operational aspects of the farm.
Summary of Essential Job Functions

Promote safe work habits to prevent injuries in the workplace.

Ensure safety precautions are taken to prevent damage to vehicles, buildings, and other property.

Quality control.

Record keeping.

Perform and assist in the performance of planting operations.

Perform and assist in the performance of spraying operations.
-
Perform and assist in the performance of fertilizing operations.
-
Perform and assist in the performance of maintenance/fabrication projects.

Perform and assist in the performance of harvesting operations.

Perform and assist in the performance of irrigation operations.
-
Maintain grain storage facilities.
-
Observe and/or fix equipment and vehicle problems and report unresolved issues to Operations Manager.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop, service trucks, equipment, and tools.

Work closely with Operations Manager for maximum efficiency and production.

Manage health, feeding, and accountability of livestock.

Class A CDL (exceptions will be made for the right individual assuming he or she has the ability to obtain it in a short period of time).

Chemical Applicator’s License (be able to obtain in a timely manner).
Physical Requirements

Must be physically capable of and willing to work in both hot (over 100°F) and cold (below 15°F) conditions.

Must be physically capable of safely checking the condition of grain in storage facilities without supervision.

Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds without assistance.

What to expect
Operation personnel would be expected to perform and assist in all operations of production and maintenance of the farm shop, equipment, and livestock. Timely operations, spring, summer, or fall or key to the success of the farm. Therefore, Reall employees would be expected for preparing for preform or assist when weather permits conditions for proper application. (which may include early morning or late night or weekend applications) including spraying tendering spray, operator, planting or harvesting.
Feeder cattle are a small, but integral part of our operation added duties may be processing accounting for providing nutrition, and fencing for cattle.
