As a Construction Laborer I – Telecom, you’ll support field crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground telecom infrastructure. This entry-level role focuses on learning safe construction practices, performing manual labor tasks, and building the foundation for a long-term career in telecommunications construction.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with conduit placement, cable placement, trenching, and job site restoration.
- Hand-dig trenches and backfill safely under supervision.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools.
- Set up and break down traffic control and safety zones.
- Clear brush, debris, and obstacles to prepare work sites.
- Support linemen and operators with pole setting and conduit placement.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site while following all safety protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedules and travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior construction or telecom experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- CDL Class A or B.
