Position Overview
American Turf Care LLC is seeking experienced Turf & Lawn Care Applicators to join our growing turf management and lawn care team. This hands-on role focuses on the application of liquid and granular lawn products across residential and commercial properties. Prior turf or landscaping experience is required to ensure quality, efficiency, and attention to detail in the field.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, following detailed procedures, and contributing to a high-performing team. Landscape foreman experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Turf Application & Field Operations
- Apply liquid and granular lawn care products to residential and commercial properties
- Operate turf application equipment including push spreaders, ride-on spreaders, backpack sprayers, and tank sprayers
- Drive company pickup trucks and tow small trailers to job sites
- Complete daily service logs, application records, and required documentation accurately
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices for turf and pesticide application
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and internal operating procedures
- Properly maintain equipment, tools, and safety gear
Team & Customer Interaction
- Communicate professionally with team members and customers as needed
- Represent American Turf Care LLC with professionalism and attention to detail on every property
Qualifications
- Prior experience in turf care, lawn care, landscaping, or pesticide application required
- NY 3A Pesticide License preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks during 10-hour shifts
- Ability to follow detailed application procedures and documentation requirements
- Landscape foreman or crew leadership experience a plus
- Military veterans and career changers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$45+ per hour, based on experience
- Weekly pay
- Overtime available weekly (45–55 hours per week)
