The crops on which workers will work are onions and other vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. Workers must be able to: prepare fields for irrigation by sprinkler or drip delivery system; set up and move irrigation pipes and equipment; perform scheduled irrigation of the fields; assist in preparation and planting/cultivation activities; assist with seeding activities; operate farm equipment; assist in planting and cultivation activities; weed and hoe crops; assist with harvest activities; perform farmwork incidental to farming the crop(s) listed on this application; and other tasks and duties under SOC Code 45-2092. Related duties may be assigned. Work is performed outdoors in highly varied weather conditions. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required. Being on one’s feet for long periods of time is required. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds is required. Frequent turning, pushing, and pulling is required. Dexterity to use and manipulate hand tools, farm equipment, and crops is required. Vision, focus, and cognitive ability to accomplish the functions above is required. We anticipate the arrival of 81 workers on 3/13/26 and 28 workers on 3/25/26.
