We are seeking a highly motivated
Fresh Produce Sales Representative to join our team remotely with travel to the office in Wrightsville Beach, NC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in fresh produce sales, ideally in berries. Currently, 95% of their business is the retail program covering a footprint from Texas to the East Coast. This role will continue to drive sales to retail and other areas such as food service or wholesale channels. You would have the opportunity to grow into the Sales Manager role and continue building the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail buyers, category managers, and store-level contacts
- Manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Present product offerings, seasonal programs, and promotional plans to retail partners
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements to meet revenue and margin goals

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to ensure timely fulfillment
- Analyze sales data and market trends to recommend strategies for growth
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
Qualifications:
- Experience in fresh produce sales, ideally berry, or related commodities
- Active book of business from retail to food service or wholesale clients
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- In-depth knowledge of the fresh produce industry or a related commodity, including market trends, regulations, and quality standards
