Dieterman Farm Services is hiring a
Farm Foreman to join our team in
Marion, MI. In this role, you’ll work hands-on in the field, operating modern equipment to lead chopping, trucking, and manure operations during planting and harvest. You’ll lead a team of 4-30 employees to ensure the right equipment and manpower are in place to support operations over 10,000 acres up to 75 miles from headquarters.

With a large fleet of trucks, choppers, and manure tanks, we offer custom services to dairy farms, including forage harvesting, tillage, and manure application. What you will be doing:
- Operate a variety of farm equipment for forage harvesting, manure application, and field preparation.
- Leading teams of 4-30, consisting of operators and truck drivers
- Coordinate and maintain appropriate workforce levels
- Leading day-to-day farm operations and seasonal tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality, timely service to decrease down time
This job is for you if you have:
- Experience operating equipment in agriculture, farming, or similar settings (construction, heavy equipment, or military experience is also valuable).
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours during peak farming seasons.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to dependability.
- CDL is preferred but not required.
