Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Foreman in carrying out all maintenance activities related to the departments under the direction of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Executive Agriculture Office. The individual performs skilled work in several trade areas including performing routine and preventive maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, to ensure are in optimal working condition The incumbent ensures the clean and safe operations of the facility and/or equipment, and the health of livestock. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds, and/or caring for livestock is required. Vocational/technical training in maintenance and/or mechanical repair or any combination of training and experience will be considered. Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver's License; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred. Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings, special events and holidays.
