We are seeking a full-time Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to support our year-round farming and nursery operations in St. Paul, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley.
Objective for this position will be to perform maintenance and repairs for equipment as needed to keep it functioning and in top condition to meet the needs of our operation.
Self-motivated, able to work independently or as a team player, someone who can prioritize essential work, delegate assignments in a leadership position when needed, effective and positive communication.
Jobs may include, but not limited to, working in the shop, field repairs/service on site, trouble shooting, misc. needs around the farm/nursery.
Knowledge of mechanical, diesel, gas, hydraulics, electronics, as well as some welding/fabrication skills.
Knowledge of various makes and models, such as: John Deere, Case IH, CAT, Kubota Tractors, combines, harvest equipment, trucks, pick-ups, farm and nursery implements.
Keep accurate and current record keeping, parts ordering/inventory.
Ability to work longer hours during the peak seasons.
English required. Spanish a plus
Valid/clean Oregon Driver’s License
Competitive pay with benefits
40-60 hours per week depending on season. Overtime for 48+ hours. Monday- Friday with occasional weekends during harvest season
Our shop is an 8400 sq ft. heated facility with good lighting and workspace.
Our main crops include hazelnuts, garlic, grass seed, nursery, squash, and green beans.
