Lennard Ag is hiring a Crop Manager to lead the expansion of their garlic crop division in the US and Argentina. You will be focused on learning and becoming an expert on growing garlic.

Crop Manager (Garlic) to lead this initiative. This is a unique opportunity to build and manage a specialty crop program with both domestic and international exposure.
This role is based in
Howe, Indiana, with significant travel required:
- First 2-3 months in California to learn garlic production practices and systems
- 3-4 months annually in Argentina to manage garlic crop production
- Remaining time based in Indiana, leading and supporting U.S. garlic operations

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of Lennard Ag’s garlic production program across multiple geographies
- Provide strong operations leadershipfor planting, growing, and harvesting activities
- Travel internationally to oversee crop production in Argentina and ensure alignment with company standards
- Train in California on garlic production practices, then implement and adapt those practices across operations
- Collaborate with agronomy teams on crop health, fertility, irrigation, and pest management strategies
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient and timely field operations
- Support equipment service and maintenance needs to ensure operational uptime
- Monitor crop progress, collect field data, and make real-time decisions to optimize yield and quality
- Assist with planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, train, and develop seasonal and full-time team members
This Position is for You if You:
- Have experience in specialty crops (vegetables, produce, or high-value crops preferred)
- Bring strong operations management and thrive in hands-on production environments
- Are adaptable and excited about international travel and cross-cultural operations
- Have a solid understanding of agronomy, irrigation, and crop production systems
- Possess mechanical aptitude and can support basic troubleshooting and equipment service
- Are comfortable working independently while also leading teams during peak seasons
- Are highly organized, proactive, and driven to build something new
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialty crop or vegetable production (garlic experience is a plus but not required)
- Background in agronomy, crop science, or agricultural operations
- Experience managing teams and large-scale field operations
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods
