Ellens Equipment is hiring a Sales Representative to join our team in Beal City, MI. In this you will play a key role in driving sales of farm machinery and agriculture equipment while building strong relationships with customers in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person sales calls at customer sites
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Build and maintain a strong network of customers, contractors, and industry partners
- Develop and execute sales plans and forecasts
- Maintain accurate CRM records including call logs, prospects, and quotes
- Price equipment and evaluate trade-in values
- Sell, rent, and lease new and used farm machinery and agriculture equipment
- Represent and grow major equipment brands including New Holland, Bobcat, and Doosan
- Maintain current product knowledge across all equipment lines
- Attend training sessions and sales meetings to stay up to date on products and promotions
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
- Conduct field demonstrations, machine inspections, and on-site consultations
- Assist customers with equipment selection based on application and operational needs
- Oversee delivery, setup, startup, and operator training
- Support precision agriculture initiatives and solutions for customers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of equipment or agricultural sales experience preferred
- Experience selling skid loaders, track loaders, mini track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, compact tractors, and high horsepower tractors
- Strong knowledge of farm machinery and agriculture equipment markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel within assigned territory
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely operate and demonstrate equipment
- Ability to mount/dismount machinery and secure equipment for transport
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, and squat for extended periods
