Job Description:

To support this mission, Syngenta is seeking a Coordinator Multiplication Order Management in Pasco, WA. This role will contribute to the successful outcome of Syngenta's global Licensing activities by providing licensing support and creative thinking for third-party agreements and opportunities that enable success across the Syngenta Seeds Commercial and R&D pipeline.
The Coordinator Multiplication Order Management will partner with a broad range of internal stakeholders such as Commercial, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and P&S to ensure alignment on critical deal elements, and lead and/or support management of key relationships. Ensure smooth cooperation with third parties by overseeing the management and implementation of regulatory and IRM contract aspects, while actively participating as a member of the Global Licensing team.
Accountabilities:
- Manage contract templates with Production Managers, Production Leaders, and Legal; verify pricing accuracy and obtain proper signatures per DOA.
- Enter and maintain grower contracts in SAP, Master files and SharePoint.
- Request/maintain Growers/Vendors in database; store field-related Service Agreements.
- Create/maintain Multiplication Process Orders, Batch Characteristics and Contracts.
- Create sublots and communicate batch creation to stakeholders.
- Facilitate shipment of Parent Seed, responsible for reservation and reconciliation of Parent Seed inventory.
- Provide Disease to State Agencies; ensure all inspections are requested; record and store field inspections.
- Export Yield data from grower tool to Master Files; enter Yield estimate updates in SAP.
- Execute Grower Advances; follow up on advance payment deductions and Contract payment submissions and accuracy.
- Process Grower/Vendor invoices, review accuracy of payment.
- Review harvest information and track data on Master Files.
- Update/support workflow documentation; adopt required IT solutions; provide crop information for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree: Business, Ag Business, Accounting, or relevant experience.
- Excellent working relations within P&S across functions and with various teams.
- Early alert function for major VPR deviations.
- Fluid preparation and execution of invoice/payment process.
- On-time grower settlements.
- Support for management towards purchasing financials.
- Ability to balance competing demands while meeting critical deadlines.
- Maintaining focus and productivity despite interruptions.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation consistently.
Desired:
- Knowledge/expertise in multiple SAP functions; demonstrated expertise in ERP systems for both transactional execution and reporting.
- Full understanding of crop calendars, crop cycles, and estimated lead times.
- Understanding/knowledge of Syngenta grower/vendor network and key contacts.
- Working knowledge of seed movement requirements (phytosanitary certificates, added declarations, market/production area combinations).
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting rules related to Grower payments.
- Computer literate; fluent in English; experienced working with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
Additional Information:
Salary for this position ranges between $60,000 and $75,000 annually.
