AgXplore is hiring a
Regional Agronomist to support sales and technical agronomy efforts across the Mid-South region (AR, TN, KY, LA, MS, FL, SC). This field-based role is ideal for an experienced agronomist who enjoys working directly with growers and sales teams, conducting trials, and providing hands-on agronomic expertise across multiple states.
This is not a direct sales role, but a highly visible, relationship-driven position focused on supporting Sales Agronomists, strengthening retailer relationships, and driving product success through technical knowledge and in-field engagement.

What You’ll Do
- Support Sales Agronomists across a multi-state territory (AR, TN, KY, LA, MS, FL, SC)
- Partner with local retailers, PCA’s, and sales reps to provide technical agronomy support
- Conduct grower meetings, field days, and ride-alongs with sales teams
- Lead and support field trials, product demonstrations, and agronomic evaluations
- Serve as a technical resource for crop nutrition programs and product positioning
- Build strong relationships with growers and key influencers in the region
- Travel 50-70% throughout the territory
What You Bring
- B.S. in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field, or 5+ years of agronomy experience
- Strong agronomic knowledge in cotton (preferred), rice, peanuts, plus corn and soybeans
- Experience working with growers, retailers, or PCA’s in a support or consultative capacity
- Ability to present technical information in a clear, practical, and relatable way
- Willingness to travel extensively and work across multiple states
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to connect with growers in the Mid-South region
Nice to Have
- Experience with sugarcane (LA/FL markets)
- Drone or precision ag experience (or willingness to learn; licensing support provided)
- Familiarity with field trial design and data interpretation
