Smoky Valley Ag Services LLC is seeking a confident and professional Agricultural Salesperson to join our team in Abilene or Manhattan, KS. We are a privately owned, family-operated agricultural retailer with three locations in Kansas: Clay Center, Enterprise, and Junction City. We specialize in crop protection, Pioneer Seed, fertilizer, and custom application services. Our team is fast-moving, performance-driven, and dedicated to building strong relationships with both our customers and each other.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and sell within a designated sales territory
- Take ownership of an established portfolio of existing customer accounts, while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities to drive continued growth
- Build and maintain strong farmer and grower relationships
- Recommend and sell products and services, including crop protection, Pioneer Seed, fertilizer, and custom application
- Assist with research and development. This includes helping plan, implement, and evaluate research plots.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agricultural sales goals and support overall business growth
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Formal agronomy training or secondary education in agronomy or related field
- Proven experience as a sales professional, preferably in agriculture sales or farm products sales
- Excellent organizational and territory management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven
- Confident and professional demeanor with the ability to build trust with customers
