SUMMARY
The Niemann Ranch Hand is responsible for managing day to day farm operations and ensuring the quality Niemann Ranch Beef.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cattle nutrition
- Cattle health and well-being
- Pasture and crop management
- Take proper steps in nutrition and health to grow cattle from calf, to backgrounders, all the way to finish
- Feed and finish standards to produce high quality choice beef for retail sales in NFI owned and operated stores
- Maintains farm equipment
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- One year of related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages and sales per associate hour)
