Taylor Farms is looking for an experienced
Ranch Hand to join their diverse, fast paced family operation in
Goodland, Kansas. The
Ranch Hand must have a strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have 3-5 years of cattle experience.
Ranch Hand Compensation & Benefits:
• $48,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience
• Year-end bonus

Ranch Hand Job Duties:
• Conduct routine livestock inspections on all cattle.
• Handle cattle with low stress.
• Feed, water and put out salt and minerals
• Assist with artificial insemination process
• Assist with calving
• Identify and treat sick cattle
• Process and work cattle regularly
• Rotate cattle on pastures and corn stalks
• Install and fix fence
• Ability to monitor cattle health via side-by-side vehicles and/or horseback riding
• Safely operate a semi-truck during harvest
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment
Ranch Hand Schedule: Hours vary based on season
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating weekends for chores
The
Ranch Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. A class A Farm CDL is required, or the willingness to get one.
