Cadence Ranch is a professional dressage training and breeding facility located in Hutto, Texas, about 45 minutes from downtown Austin. Situated on 50+ acres of prime real estate along the San Gabriel River, the ranch specializes in classical dressage training and producing horses from youngsters to FEI levels. All animals enjoy access to 24/7 turnout in large, lush pastures, and each horse receives a customized feeding and training program developed collaboratively with veterinarians, farriers, and body workers. Cadence Ranch is seeking one experienced Equine Operations Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the daily operations of a working equine facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily horse care: feeding, watering, turnout, stall cleaning
- Horse handling, grooming, tacking, and cooling down
- Barn, fence, and facility inspection and minor repair
- Equipment operation and basic mechanical maintenance
- Assisting trainers and barn staff as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 months equine/ranch experience
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 60 lbs, work outdoors in all weather
