Hours for this position are as follows:
Tuesday-Saturday 6:15pm to 2:45 AM (Sundays as needed)
Description:
This position is responsible for operating a shag truck to move semi-trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of the PBX division. It requires using a shag truck to move semi-trailers and backing them into designated loading docks and parking areas. It requires frequent climbing into and out of the shag truck therefore must be able to climb in/out of truck using 3 points of contact several times a day and climb ladders as needed at varying height.
Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job listed below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
3 months experience driving semi or box trucks preferred.
- Must be willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Work is performed outside and therefore requires must be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc.
- The position also involves completion of paperwork as well as frequent communication using a radio to communicate with the shipping department.
- The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform position tasks.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and be 18 years or older and must be able to pass MVR report. No CDL is required.
- NO DUI or DWIs in the last 12 months
