We are hiring a
Field Operations Manager at our
Mapleton, ND facility. You will oversee approximately 20,000 acres of seed production and manage relationships with about 40 growers to maximize the number of finished units produced that also meet all quality specifications. You will work closely with growers throughout planting and harvest seasons and promote best practices to maximize seed quality. You will also oversee harvest operations at our 130k sq ft facility, working closely with the Location Manager.

What you will do...
- Manage grower relationships and provide guidance on best practices
- Coordinate and oversee field inspection teams and review reports with growers
- Recruit and retain growers by promoting contract opportunities
- Support harvest operations related to seed treating, packaging, and shipping
- Maintain compliance with established QMS system
- Collect and review bin samples
- Hire and supervise temporary & seasonal employees
- Assist Location Manager with employee reviews
- Monitor stored bulk seed to ensure that seed quality is maintained
- Ensuring compliance with the Worker Protection Standard and the Migrant & Seasonal Labor Protection Act (as applicable)
What you will bring...
- A 4-year college degree in Agriculture preferred but not mandatory
- Agricultural background is beneficial
- Computer skills required, advanced skills preferred
- Understanding of seed production or minimum of four years of related experience
- Excellent communications skills with positive attitude

- Coordinate soybean field operations from planting through harvest ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks
