Grand Flower Growers is hiring a Lead Grower to oversee all aspects of crop production at its Cedartown, Georgia facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for crop health, greenhouse climate management, irrigation, IPM, and leading the growing team across both indoor and outdoor production areas.
This position is highly operational and focused on execution, team leadership, and producing high-quality annuals at scale. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on the greenhouse floor daily, walking crops, making real-time growing decisions, supporting staff, and maintaining consistent production standards in a fast-paced commercial greenhouse environment.

Founded in 1999, Grand Flower Growers supplies premium annuals and combination planters to The Home Depot garden centers throughout the United States. This role is based at the company’s Cedartown, Georgia facility, which includes 14 acres of greenhouse production and 7 acres of outdoor growing space.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily crop production across greenhouse and outdoor growing areas
- Walk crops daily and make decisions around irrigation, fertility, spacing, trimming, and environmental control
- Monitor and adjust greenhouse climate including temperature, humidity, airflow, and lighting
- Lead IPM efforts including scouting, treatment implementation, and pesticide compliance
- Maintain accurate records for chemical applications, crop activity, and environmental programs
- Manage and support category growers and growing staff, including H-2A labor teams
- Coordinate with the Farm Manager on crop timing, spacing, and production needs
- Monitor greenhouse systems and coordinate maintenance or repairs when needed
- Maintain inventory of fertilizers, pesticides, PPE, and growing supplies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
What You Bring
- 5-7+ years of commercial greenhouse growing experience, preferably with annual crops
- Strong knowledge of irrigation, plant nutrition, greenhouse climate management, and IPM
- Experience diagnosing and resolving plant health issues
- Leadership experience managing growing teams in a hands-on production environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, growers, and ownership teams
- Pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain

- Bilingual Spanish skills or “farm Spanish”
- Horticulture degree or related certifications
