RJP Farms is hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Thurman, IA (about 35 miles south of Omaha, NE). In this role you will be supporting our row crop farm operation by operating a variety of farm machinery and agriculture equipment including tractors, augers, tillage tools, grain carts, forklifts, skid steers, and mowers.
We are a family-oriented farming operation focused on corn and soybean production. With a small team of 3–6 employees, we value hard work, reliability, and a positive team environment. We farm approximately 2,700 acres of corn and soybeans and operate a small, close-knit team that works collaboratively throughout the year.

What you will be doing:
- Operate a variety of farm machinery and agriculture equipment including tractors, augers, tillage tools, grain carts, forklifts, skid steers, and mowers
- Assist with planting and harvesting activities across corn and soybean acres
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on farm equipment and vehicles
- Safely operate a semi truck for grain hauling (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Utilize GPS systems and precision agriculture technology in equipment
- Support general farm operations and assist team members as needed
This job is for you if you have:
- Previous experience in farming or agriculture preferred
- Experience operating farm machinery and agriculture equipment strongly preferred
- Semi-truck driving experience required; CDL preferred or ability to obtain
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform equipment maintenance and repairs
- Welding experience is a plus
- Dependable, responsible, and punctual
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work long hours and weekends during planting and harvest seasons.
