Ellens Equipment is hiring an Equipment Detailing and Service Preparation Technician to join our team in McBain, MI (about 12 miles southeast of Cadillac). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a wide range of farm machinery and agriculture equipment for both customer delivery and service readiness. This includes thoroughly washing, detailing, and inspecting equipment to ensure it meets company presentation and quality standards.

What you will be doing:
- Wash, clean, and detail a variety of farm machinery and agriculture equipment for customer delivery and service preparation
- Operate power washers, cleaning tools, and detailing equipment to ensure equipment meets company presentation standards
- Clean and prepare interiors and exteriors, including cabs, windows, seats, and mirrors
- Assist in preparing equipment for inspection, service, and delivery readiness
- Safely use basic hand and power tools as needed and maintain proper tool organization
- Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
- Communicate with the Service Administrator regarding daily tasks and report any issues in the wash bay or service area
- Work both indoors and outdoors, including in a heated wash bay

- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to safely mount, dismount, and operate equipment
- Capable of standing, sitting, and squatting for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
