two Area Sales Managers to join their team in the Midwest.

An
Area Sales Manager will focus on
selling egg-breaking equipment and egg-processing systems throughout the US, with frequent travel to the office in Wixom, MI, and to Italy, where their innovative equipment is designed and manufactured. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for building long-term relationships, increasing sales of egg-breaking and processing solutions across the US, and will work closely with the sales team and MOBA Italy. A technically oriented sales professional will thrive with experience in industrial machinery-preferably within the food-processing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of egg-breaking equipment, pasteurization systems, and complementary process technologies from MOBA’s product portfolio
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical discussions, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with egg processors, food manufacturers, integrators, and industry partners
- Provide ongoing customer support and ensure satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Prepare detailed technical quotations and supporting documentation
- Deliver impactful technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and internal teams
- Assist customers in defining project requirements, evaluating system options, and planning equipment integration
- Coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure successful delivery, installation, and after-sales support
- Analyze market trends and specific requirements in the North American egg-processing sector
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to regional growth strategies
- Maintain an active project pipeline and keep CRM tools updated
- Report on sales forecasts, market developments, and competitive activity
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all proposals and commercial agreements
- Support execution of contractual commitments in coordination with internal departments
- Assist with credit and receivables follow-up when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Agriculture, Mechanical, Industrial, Food Engineering) or Food Science/Technology, or equivalent technical background, is ideal
- Strong sales experience in agriculture, industrial equipment, food processing equipment, or project management is preferred
- Familiarity with egg-processing systems (breaking, separating, pasteurization) or mechanical and process technologies and technical drawings is a major plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to manage complex projects, effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel extensively within North America and occasionally internationally to Italy
