We are hiring a
Remote Territory Sales Manager to grow business by building strong relationships with new and existing customers to expand market share. You will be selling to ag chemical manufacturers and toll manufacturers to introduce and grow the adoption of the innovative Poly Guard container line. This is a highly relationship-driven role where you’ll work comfortably with stakeholders at every level and play a key part in bringing a safer, forward-thinking packaging solution to the market.
What you will do...
- Be adept at cold calling, prospecting, developing an Account Package, Self Driven
- Focus on the Agrochemical market, selling to manufacturers and toll manufacturers
- Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
What you will bring...
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience selling crop inputs, containers, equipment, and/or supplies to the agrochemical industry.
- Deep technical knowledge of the product line being represented (or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Proficiency in using a CRM system and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with office software and phone systems
