JOB SUMMARY
The position performs a variety of tasks, such as weeding, pruning, trimming, and general plant maintenance. This position also assists with planting and cultivating nursery stock.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment while performing daily maintenance and landscape duties.
- Plant and cultivate trees, shrubs and nursery stock.
- Transplant and move trees, shrubs and other plant material.
- Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment when and where required.
- Comply and enforce compliance with company safety policies and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Assist other departments, when requested, such as Landfill, Operations, Ranch, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of lawn maintenance and landscaping procedures; and
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
