Bravado Dog Grooming is located in the heart of North Loop, Austin, Texas. (North Central ATX) Nestled off the Loop next door to amazing shops with an eclectic vibe. We're looking for an additional bather to join us!
About us... Woman Owned, Queer Friendly, Hablamos Español but not required, Small Locally Owned. We do not groom cats, only dogs.
We are seeking to add a dog bather with the minimum of one year of previous experience in a grooming salon or similar environment.
- This job is physically active and requires you to be able to stand, walk, kneel, etc. all day
- Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Familiarity with dog handling techniques, patience and a basic understanding of dog breeds is needed.
- You will be expected to assist with checking dogs in and out
- Bathing dogs includes, drying, nails, glands, ear cleaning, brushing, deshedding and dematting. These are skills applicant should know from prior work experience.
- General cleaning of the salon, examples tubs, workstation, kennels, etc
- Most importantly you must love dogs!
- Expect to work with all dog sizes from Yorkies to Shepards
This is a full-time position hourly plus tips. Base pay is $15 plus tips, expect to make minimum $20 an hr after tips but up to $23
Hours are 8:30a - 5p or 8a to 430p Tuesday- Saturday
This position does require a background check due to the personal nature of our business.
