Harvest Supervisor to join our team in Brentwood, California. In this role, you will lead daily harvest operations across assigned farm blocks, supervising crews and ensuring efficient, high-quality picking aligned with crop readiness and business priorities. This position plays a key role in maintaining productivity, fruit quality, and operational efficiency throughout the harvest season.
We offer competitive hourly compensation of $30/hour (or $240/day), with estimated monthly earnings of approximately $5,200 based on a six-day work week. Actual earnings may be higher due to overtime opportunities. In addition, a $5,000 season-end bonus will be paid on July 15, 2026, contingent upon completion of the full season and satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily harvest operations across assigned farm blocks, ensuring timely picking aligned with yield readiness and business priorities (U-Pick, markets, freeze-dry)
- Supervise and manage harvest crews, including task assignment, productivity tracking, and on-field coaching to maximize output and efficiency
- Maintain high-quality harvesting standards by minimizing fruit damage, monitoring ripeness, and enforcing proper handling practices
- Track and report daily harvest volumes, crew performance, and field issues to farm management for planning and optimization
- Enforce safety, discipline, and operational protocols across crews, including proper equipment use and adherence to farm guidelines
Qualifications:
- Currently working in a similar Harvest Supervisor or equivalent leadership role
- Minimum of 3 years of harvest supervision experience preferred, ideally with berry crops
- Fluent Spanish required, with functional English communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities
- Ability to work extended hours and a six-day schedule during peak harvest season
