Position Overview
The Dispatcher role plays a critical part in agricultural logistics operations by ensuring accurate order entry, efficient coordination, and timely product delivery to customers. Skills needed to perform daily tasks include multi-tasking, polite and courteous customer service skills, positive attitude towards others, navigational awareness, time management, and technological knowledge. Accurate and proper recordkeeping, as well as good note taking. This position works closely with sales and operations teams to maintain seamless communication and workflow.

We offer a salary of $22.00-$26.00/hour and Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Paid Sick Time, Paid Vacation
Key Responsibilities
- Create, process, and accurately enter sales orders, return authorizations, and dispatch documentation in the company’s ERP system
- Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch deliveries and pickups to ensure efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate with delivery drivers to provide direction and ensure safe, accurate deliveries
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of all orders and deliveries
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align on order details, priorities, and scheduling
- Provide clear, timely communication and instructions across teams
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company’s high service standards in all interactions
- Uphold company safety policies and comply with all DOT driving and operational safety standards
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and answer incoming calls
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the company’s products and services
- Exercise sound judgment aligned with company goals and operational needs
- Be available to work overtime and Saturdays during peak seasons
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in dispatch required
- 1+ years of agriculture experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong navigational awareness and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Technical Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite experience preferred
