Position Overview
Montra Ag Inc. is seeking an Agriculture Sales Account Executive to drive farm sales growth across South Dakota and Iowa. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in agricultural sales, farm relationships, livestock production, or crop input sales.
You will work directly with farmers, ranchers, and ag producers, selling feed additives, crop solutions, and farm performance products while building long-term partnerships across the territory. This is a high-visibility, ground-floor opportunity to grow a sales territory in one of the most productive agriculture regions in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy across South Dakota and Iowa agriculture markets
- Build relationships with livestock producers, row crop farmers, and ag operators
- Sell and promote feed additives, crop inputs, and farm performance products
- Conduct on-farm visits, product demonstrations, and field trials
- Identify new business opportunities within the Midwest farming community
- Represent Montra Ag at farm shows, ag events, and producer meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams on product positioning and market feedback
- Maintain CRM activity and track ag sales performance metrics
Qualifications
- Proven experience in agriculture sales, farm sales, or ag business development
- Background in livestock production, animal nutrition, crop inputs, agronomy, or farm operations preferred
- Strong understanding of Midwest agriculture, including South Dakota and Iowa farming systems
- Ability to build trust with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural producers
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and independent work style
- Willingness to travel extensively across South Dakota and Iowa farm territory
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience working with or selling into Hutterite colonies or similar ag communities is a strong plus but not required
