Haviland Drainage Products is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to remotely join our team in Michigan. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with drainage contractors, farm operators, agricultural businesses while driving sales growth within an assigned territory.

What you will be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective agriculture and farm customers within the assigned territory
- Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities within the agriculture market
- Build strong relationships through consultative sales and exceptional customer service
- Assess customer needs and recommend effective drainage and agriculture solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including shipping and operations, to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
- Communicate regularly with the Sales Manager regarding territory performance, challenges, and growth opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of agriculture trends, farm operations, and product offerings
- Represent the company at agriculture trade shows, farm events, and industry functions
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 95%)
This job is for you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in agriculture sales, farm equipment sales, or agribusiness is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of agriculture, farming operations, and agribusiness practices
- Proven ability to listen, understand, and respond to customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a territory-based sales role
- Proficient in basic computer applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
