Sandy Pine is hiring a Human Resources Engagement Specialist to join our team in Ainsworth, NE (North Central Nebraska). In this role you will support a variety of Human Resources, administrative, and clerical functions while leading employee engagement initiatives across our swine production operations. This role coordinates programs, events, and internal communications that enhance employee experience and workplace culture. The position also manages project timelines, supports payroll and HRIS processes, and partners with leadership to ensure HR initiatives align with company goals.

What you will be doing:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute employee engagement events such as company gatherings, team building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives
- Support HR administrative and clerical functions, including maintaining employee records, documentation, and internal communications
- Develop and maintain a high school intern program by partnering with local schools and agriculture educators to promote careers in agriculture and swine production
- Create and coordinate community involvement and volunteer programs to strengthen company relationships and employee engagement
- Manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote positive company culture and employee recognition
- Administer workers compensation program, including claim processing, vendor coordination, and communication with employees and managers
- Partner with leadership to support training programs that enhance management and leadership skills
- Process payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance; maintain and verify employee data within HR systems
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, feedback programs, and communication strategies
- Analyze employee feedback and engagement data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Support workplace safety initiatives in collaboration with management and biosecurity teams within swine operations
- Promote company values and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect
- Perform additional administrative and clerical HR duties as assigned

- Experience with event coordination, scheduling, and vendor management
- Experience processing payroll and handling confidential HR data; familiarity with HRIS systems such as Paycom is a plus
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms
- Experience with Canva or similar tools for internal communications is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
