Silvaseed is hiring a Sales Manager to join our team in Roy, WA (about 30 miles east of Olympia). In this role you will be responsible for originating and closing seed and seedling contracts with major timber companies, land managers, and conservation organizations. This role works closely with internal growing and operations teams to ensure all sales align with sowing schedules and greenhouse capacity. This role is ideal for an industry savvy professional with experience in forestry, agriculture, horticulture, or nursery operations who understands the seasonal and biological rhythms that drive production.

What You Will Do
- Generate and manage a proactive sales pipeline by prospecting, negotiating, and securing large scale seed and seedling contracts
- Represent Silvaseed at industry conferences, trade shows, and field events to expand market presence
- Partner closely with the General Manager and growing team to align sales commitments with production capacity and seasonal timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across forestry, timber, agriculture, and conservation sectors
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform strategy and planning
- Contribute ideas, themes, and field insights to support marketing and social media initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience of B2B sales experience within forestry, agriculture, horticulture, nursery operations, timber, or conservation sectors
- Strong understanding of nursery operations and respect for biological and seasonal production constraints
- Self starter mindset with the ability to travel, meet clients in the field, and build relationships face to face
- Working knowledge of conifer seedlings, seed programs, horticulture, or agriculture practices
- Experience using CRM systems and collaborating cross functionally with operations and accounting teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and aligned
