La Copa Ranch is a working ranch dedicated to livestock operations and land stewardship. We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Ranch Manager to oversee daily operations, livestock care, and ranch staff.
Position Overview
The Ranch Manager will be responsible for the overall management of ranch operations, including livestock oversight, property maintenance, and supervising a small team. This is a working manager role requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to perform physical ranch work daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ranch operations
- Manage and supervise 3–5 employees
- Care for and monitor livestock, including cattle, calves, and goats
- Perform and oversee fencing installation and repairs
- Perform welding and general equipment repairs
- Maintain ranch equipment and facilities
- Coordinate feeding, breeding, and herd health programs
- Ensure safe and efficient work practices
- Maintain records related to livestock and ranch operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing ranch or agricultural operations
- Strong experience with cattle, calves, and goats
- Proficient in welding
- Skilled in fence building and repair
- Experience supervising and leading a team
- Ability to operate ranch equipment and machinery
- Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
- Valid driver’s license
