Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Farm Helper / Agricultural Worker and become an essential part of cultivating healthy crops, caring for livestock, and maintaining farm operations. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, applying your hands-on skills to support sustainable farming practices. Whether you're assisting with planting, harvesting, animal care, or equipment maintenance, your contributions will directly impact the success of our farm operations. The candidate will assist with a wide range of farm activities, including but not limited to:
Field Preparation
- Land preparation and clearing
- Bed shaping and formation
- Assisting with tractor-related work (support tasks)
Planting & Crop Establishment
- Seeding and transplanting crops
- Laying plastic mulch and drip irrigation lines
- Setting up planting layouts
Irrigation & Water Management
- Setting up and monitoring drip irrigation systems
- Connecting and maintaining water lines
- Adjusting irrigation based on crop needs
Crop Maintenance
- Weeding and field cleaning
- Thinning plants where needed
- Supporting fertilizer or nutrient application (as instructed)
Trellis & Infrastructure Work
- Installing and maintaining trellis systems (fence panels, posts, etc.)
- Supporting setup of high tunnels and farm structures
- General repair and maintenance work
Pest & Crop Monitoring
- Observing crop health and reporting issues
- Assisting with pest control measures (as directed)
Harvesting & Post-Harvest
Harvesting vegetables carefully and efficiently
- Sorting, cleaning, and packing produce
- Preparing produce for delivery or pickup
General Farm Work
- Loading and unloading materials and produce
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of farm area
- Assisting with any additional tasks required for farm operations
Requirements
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to follow instructions and work consistently
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in farming, landscaping, or construction
- Familiarity with irrigation systems or tools
- Experience working with crops or outdoor environments
