Seeking Licensed Plant Health Care Professionals – Austin, TX
Are you a dedicated and skilled Plant Health Care professional with a passion for nurturing green spaces? Good Guys Tree is seeking licensed individuals to join our team and help maintain the health and vitality of landscapes across Austin, TX and the surrounding areas.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Plant Health Care Professional with Good Guys Tree, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting plant health assessments and diagnosing issues.
- Implementing targeted treatments for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Applying environmentally responsible solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
- Collaborating with our expert team to ensure optimal tree and plant care.
- Maintaining accurate records and effectively communicating observations with clients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A valid Texas Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of tree and plant species common to Texas, along with associated pests and diseases.
- Experience with integrated pest management (IPM) and environmentally responsible treatment methods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- A passion for sustainable plant health care practices.
