Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Wrangler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong understanding of equine practices. This role involves giving guests an amazing experience on trail rides, maintaining the well-being of animals, managing barn areas, having great customer service skills and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. The Wrangler will play a critical role in providing our ranch excursions while promoting a safe and productive environment.
Duties
- Guiding trail lessons, teaching people about horses, and becoming a horse safety expert.
- Maintain the health and well-being of animals through proper feeding, care, and monitoring.
- Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including grooming, tacking and handling.
- Operate hand tools and equipment for various tasks related to barn tidiness and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and achieve organizational goals.
Experience
- Previous 5 year minimum experience in animal handling, safety and care
- At least 5+ years riding horses
- Knowledge about proper grooming, tack and saddling of horses
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to talk to all types of people and ensure they enjoy their riding experience
- A willingness to learn and grow within the role while contributing positively to the team environment.
Job Types: Contract, Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 PER RIDE- NOT HOURLY
Many of our guests tip, how much you make on top of your pay depends on the experience you provide to our guests.

***We do not offer onsite housing or relocation reimbursement. We are looking for people who already live in Austin and surrounding areas or who are already planning on moving here.
