Dirty Dog is looking for an experienced, professional Dog Groomer to join our team. We are not a corporate chain. We are a locally owned Austin business that has been caring for dogs for over 20 years, with a strong focus on safety, enrichment, and creating a positive experience for both dogs and their people.

What You’ll Do
- Perform full grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of every dog in your care
- Communicate clearly with pet parents about grooming requests and expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional grooming space
- Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of professional dog grooming experience required (you’ve been paid to complete full grooms independently)
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques
- Confident, calm animal handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Ability to safely lift and handle dogs when needed
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
Compensation & Opportunity
Our groomers earn based on productivity and client demand. In 2025, our groomers made between $60,000 (part-time) and $130,000+ (full-time) and are on track to meet or exceed that this year.
We provide a steady client base, supportive management, and an environment where groomers can build long-term relationships with their clients.
