Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ranch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving ranch. In this role, you will oversee livestock management, farm maintenance, equipment operation, and staff supervision to ensure the smooth running of all ranch activities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily ranch operations, including livestock care, crop cultivation, and equipment maintenance
- Oversee animal husbandry activities such as feeding, health monitoring, breeding, and handling various species including equines and other farm animals
- Manage farm machinery and heavy equipment operation, ensuring proper use and safety protocols are followed
- Perform equipment repairs, welding, and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools to keep machinery in optimal condition
- Implement irrigation systems and horticultural practices to support crop growth and greenhouse operations
- Lead staff training on animal handling, safety procedures, and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of livestock health, breeding schedules, farm activities, and inventory
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in agricultural or ranch settings with strong leadership skills
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and maintenance
- Extensive animal husbandry knowledge with a focus on animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely and effectively
- Experience with equine management and general farming or agriculture practices
- Familiarity with horticulture principles and greenhouse operations is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for record keeping and measurement tasks
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and ensure safety compliance

**Rate of pay depends on experience. Housing is provided. Candidates must be bilingual, have a clean MVR, clean background. Additionally, part time work may be available for spouse.
Pay: $52,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
