Foods USA is seeking a Sales Representative to join its team in the Northeast territory to support retail and food service customers.

We are hiring a
Sales Representative to develop and manage retail, distributors, and meat processor accounts within the Northeast territory. This role blends relationship-driven sales, territory development, and account management with regular in-person customer engagement. The Sales Representative will work to grow existing business, prospect new accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships while representing Foods USA’s full product portfolio.
We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential tied directly to gross profit performance. Foods USA also provides mileage and approved travel expense reimbursement for customer visits and monthly office collaboration when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of retail stores, distributors, and meat processors
- Conduct regular in-person customer visits to strengthen relationships and support sales growth
- Present and promote Foods USA’s protein and frozen food product offerings
- Identify opportunities to increase product penetration within existing accounts
- Drive new business development through prospecting, referrals, and expansion of existing relationships
- Build long-term relationships with store owners and buyers
- Assist with account follow-up, payment collection, and customer account management when needed
- Monitor market trends, pricing activity, and customer demand within the territory
- Provide feedback to leadership regarding customer needs and business opportunities
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within food distribution, wholesale, or food service industries
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Experience managing accounts and developing new business opportunities
- Comfortable working both in-office and in the field visiting customers
- Strong organizational, communication, and territory management abilities
- Experience with invoicing, collections, or account follow-up is a plus
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong negotiation skills
