Solinftec is looking for an experienced agricultural sales professional to join their team as a Sales Account Manager covering Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for growing their presence in a multi-state region by engaging directly with farmers, ag retailers, cooperatives, and grain elevators. You'll represent Solinftec’s precision ag technologies, including software, hardware, and robotic field scouters and applicators and build trusted relationships in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and inquiries to ensure exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities.
- Present Solinftec’s products and solutions with a comprehensive understanding of client needs.
- Develop and implement territory action plans based on sales history and client needs.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity weekly to inform sales strategies.
- Provide input to Senior Management on agronomy, grain, and product/service development.
- Document client interactions using CRM.
- Establish account metrics and objectives to meet sales targets.
- Contribute to training and sales presentation materials.
- Participate in trade shows to generate leads.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in agriculture (equipment, inputs, or agtech preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of farming operations and precision agriculture.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with digital platforms and ag technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Plant Science, or related field is a plus.
